Emerging Technologies to Advance Research and Decisions on the\u00a0Environmental Health Effects of Microplastics<\/h3>\n

Morss Colloquium on Microplastics in the Marine Environment<\/h3>\n

To promote understanding of the microplastics problem, in October 2019 we organized a public colloquium entitled “Microplastics in the Ocean: Emergency or Exaggeration?<\/b>“. The colloquium was attended by a near-capacity audience of approximately 450 attendees in the Lillie Auditorium at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole.\u00a0 In addition, the colloquium was live-streamed through the Marine Biological Laboratory’s video site and WHOI’s Facebook page.
