On the same icefloe, a\u00a0Naval Postgraduate School Arctic Ocean Flux Buoy\u00a0<\/a>(AOFB) and\u00a0Climate Change College\u00a0<\/a>meteorological mast were also installed. On a separate icefloe approximately 1 km away, a\u00a0US Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) Ice Mass Balance Buoy\u00a0<\/a>(IMB 2007-D) and NOAA\/PMEL Weatherex station were deployed.
