{"id":2684,"date":"2019-11-21T17:52:45","date_gmt":"2019-11-21T21:52:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/site\/itp\/?page_id=2684"},"modified":"2021-07-20T13:35:53","modified_gmt":"2021-07-20T17:35:53","slug":"itp61-data-processing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/site\/itp\/data\/completed-missions\/itp61\/itp61-data-processing\/","title":{"rendered":"ITP 061 Data Processing"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n\t<h1>ITP61 Data Processing<\/h1>\r\n\t<p>The 911 profiles that were recovered from the ITP were processed according to the procedures described in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/site\/itp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2019\/08\/ITP_Data_Processing_Procedures_35803-1.pdf\">ITP Updated Data Processing Procedures<\/a>.\u00a0 The processing parameters for are shown in the figures to the right. \u00a0Buoy drift speeds were predominantly less than 30 cm\/s while traversing the Arctic Basin so the profiler covered the full extent of 95% of the profiles that it performed.<em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\r\n<p>Some thermohaline staircases were present early during the time series (up to about profile 200), enabling CTD lag correction estimates.\u00a0 During this period, lags were in typical ranges which were carried through the rest of the time series.
