Through a combination of school visits and hands-on experiences at our WHOI lab, we introduce students to the wonders of science and the natural world.<\/p>\n<h3>Interactive Learning Sessions<\/h3>\n<p>Our team leads engaging, age-appropriate sessions covering:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Journey of Seabirds:<\/strong> Students learn about the life cycles and unique adaptations of species like albatrosses and penguins.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adaptation and Survival:<\/strong> We explore how seabirds thrive in marine environments-and how environmental changes can pose challenges to their persistence.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conservation:<\/strong> We discuss real-world efforts to reduce accidental seabird capture in fisheries and how science can help protect ocean wildlife.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Hands-On Exploration<\/h3>\n<p>Our program blends short lessons, videos, and fun, hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
