The combination of Kelp with rice reminds me of sushi a bit. So, I guessed that any flavors I like with sushi will likely fit well in the soup.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Kelp<\/p>\r\n<p>Butter<\/p>\r\n<p>Rice<\/p>\r\n<p>Salt<\/p>\r\n<p>Vinegar<\/p>\r\n<p>Sugar<\/p>\r\n<p>Soy sauce<\/p>\r\n<p>Fresh ginger (grated or finely chopped)<\/p>\r\n<p>Chili pepper flakes<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Heat lots of kelp in butter in a pan. Cook until softened, but not crispy.<\/li>\r\n<li>Cook rice in a slight excess of water, with a bit of salt and splash of vinegar.<\/li>\r\n<li>Once rice is tender, add some sugar and soy sauce, along with some ginger and chili pepper spice.
