The Nylatron sheave is bolted to a steel hub and is supported by a 7&#8243; diameter 17-4 PH stainless load pin.<\/li>\n<li>The stern sheave is located in the center of the transom of the Knorr and sits on a heavily reinforced foundation built up from the main girder of the vessel. When the coring load is transferred to the stern sheave, it is offset by the vessels displacement in a way that there is no compromise to stability or structure.
