Overview<\/h1>\n\t

The Mooring Lab (Mooring Operations and Field Support Group) at the\u00a0Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution<\/a>\u00a0provides a full range of mooring fabrication services.\u00a0 Collectively, this team brings more than 50 years of experience to the oceanographic community worldwide.<\/p>\n

The broad range of services offered by the Mooring Lab includes surface and subsurface mooring fabrications (see\u00a0Capability<\/a>), as well as a large inventory of resources for loan, including mooring winches, air tuggers, and many other mooring related items (see\u00a0Equipment Available for Loan<\/a>).\u00a0 Refer to the\u00a0Request for Mooring Budget<\/a>\u00a0page to learn about budgeting and planning for Mooring Operations support.\u00a0 Since this group services a large scientific population, advance planning is critical to ensure that everyone’s needs can be met in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
