All are typically purchased in 10,000 meter (32,800 ft) continuous lengths. A minimal quantity of 9\/16&#8243; diameter wire rope is also purchased in 13719 meters (45,000 ft) for use on vessels that are likely to operate in oceanic trench regions.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-1\">.322&#8243; diameter EM cable<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-1\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>TE Connectivity\/Rochester&#8217;s .322&#8243; diameter electro-mechanical cable (product code A301592) is a standard cable used throughout the fleet. The .322&#8243; EM cable is a double armored cable with three #19 AWG conductors.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-2\">.680&#8243; diameter Coaxial Cable <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-2\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>Another standard cable in use is the TE Connectivity\/Rochester .680&#8243; diameter coaxial cable (product code A301241). The .680&#8243; coaxial cable has a center conductor with HDPE insulation and a served shield of work hardened copper wire providing 99% coverage. A double armor of galvanized steel on the exterior of the cable provides the strength and low rotation characteristics. The .680&#8243; coaxial cable is typically purchased in 9146 meter (30,000 ft) lengths.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-3\">.681&#8243; diameter Power Optic Cable<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-3\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>The Wire Pool has purchased three different power optic cable designs. They include the TE Connectivity \/ Rochester A302351 and A309063 designs as well as the Fibron RM0049 design. All three designs have three copper power conductors. The A302351 has three Optical Steel-Lights\u00ae and the A309063 has two Optical Steel-Lights\u00ae and one optic tube with 4 optical fibers. The RM0049 has six optical fibers in one steel tube.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-4\">Synthetic Rope<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-4\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>The Wire Pool currently has two lengths of Cortland 9\/16&#8243; diameter Plasma HiCo line that are available for temporary loan.
