the collection of scientific data.\u00a0 The orange spheres provide buoyancy to keep the mooring vertical and instruments at the desired depth.\u00a0 The controller cage manages\u00a0 the sampling rate and data collection from the oceanographic instruments on the mooring. \u00a0The profiler is a vehicle that can move up and down the mooring sampling the water column.\u00a0 The glass balls
