White \u00a9 WHOI.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>IRMINGER: The OOI-CGSN team deployed Flanking Mooring A in the OOI Irminger Sea Array off the tip of Greenland. \u00a0The Flanking Moorings consist of a top floatation sphere which sits at 30 m water depth. \u00a0Instrumentation is mounted in the sphere and along the mooring line below it. \u00a0At 500 m depth is another mid-water sphere which holds an ADCP instrument to measure water velocity.
