Calm weather and careful deck operations allowed the team to complete a complex set of recoveries and prepare for upcoming work at the Washington Shelf site.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"625\" data-end=\"641\">Highlights<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"706\">Conducted pre-recovery CTD casts for CE09OSSM and CE09OSPM.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"774\">Recovered CE09OSSM-0020 buoy, NSIF, MFN, riser cable, and HIBs.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"777\" data-end=\"814\">Retrieved the CE09OSSM-0020 anchor.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"893\">Reorganized the deck in preparation for Washington Shelf mooring recovery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"911\">Conditions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"1076\">Washington Offshore (Wednesday): Southerly winds 6\u201311 kt shifting north-northwest 13\u201318 kt in the afternoon, partly sunny, seas building from 5 ft to 8 ft.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1079\" data-end=\"1168\">Washington Shelf (Thursday): North-northwest winds 15\u201317 kt, sunny, seas near 8 ft.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1338\">With the Washington Offshore mooring and anchor now safely recovered, the science team has a clear deck and is ready to begin operations at the Washington Shelf site.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Fall 2025 Coastal Endurance Array Recovery Cruise (SR2520) continued with the successful recovery of the Washington Offshore Surface Mooring (CE09OSSM-0020) and its anchor, along with a pre-recovery CTD survey.
