In the afternoon, the team conducted ROV-assisted attempts to recover anchors from the Washington Inshore mooring and CSPP, though these efforts were only partially successful. With deck secured, the ship began transit south toward Newport, Oregon.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"720\">Highlights<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"805\">Recovered CE09OSPM-00022 buoy, subsurface sphere, riser components, and anchor.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"808\" data-end=\"860\">Completed anchor recovery despite strong currents.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"995\">Attempted ROV-supported recoveries of CE06ISSM and CE06ISSP anchors; located hardware but were unable to recover targeted anchors.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1043\">Deck secured for return transit to Newport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1061\">Conditions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1150\">Tuesday (Washington Offshore): North winds 11\u201313 kt, partly sunny, seas 6\u20137 ft.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1380\">Wednesday (Oregon Inshore): North winds 9\u201314 kt increasing to 16\u201321 kt in the afternoon, areas of dense fog before noon, mixed swell NW 7\u20138 ft at 10 seconds with WSW 1 ft at 15 seconds, wind waves building from 2 to 5 ft.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1382\" data-end=\"1573\">With the Washington Offshore Profiling Mooring fully recovered and inshore anchor recovery attempts completed, SR2520 has begun its final transit back to Newport to conclude the expedition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Fall 2025 Coastal Endurance Array Recovery Cruise (SR2520) successfully completed the recovery of the Washington Offshore Profiling Mooring (CE09OSPM-00022) riser and anchor.
