Riley Wadehra

SUMMER STUDENT FELLOW

Interests: Ecosystem transitions, Fire ecology, Theoretical ecology, Modeling

Riley Wadehra was an Summer Student Fellow at WHOI in 2019, where she was introduced to oceanography and studied the effects of river runoff on sea-level variability. She graduated from Colorado College in 2020 with a degree in environmental science and a minor in math. In the fall of 2021, she began a PhD at Yale University in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, where she plans to study ecosystem transitions and fire ecology, exploring how wildfires interact with different ecosystem types.
