The objective of this long-term project is to investigate the relationship between differences in alongshore population dynamics and nearshore physical forcing\n<div id=\"attachment_605\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-605\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/site\/pinedalab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/125\/2021\/02\/barlinef-300x268.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"268\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-605\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Semibalanus balanoides \u00a9 Jes\u00fas Pineda. All rights reserved.<\/p><\/div><\/li>\n<li>Dependence of recruitment on the timing of settlement : <a href=\"http:\/\/science.whoi.edu\/labs\/pinedalab\/PDFdocs\/Pineda_REW.pdf\">the recruitment window<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Timing of reproduction of temperate and semi tropical barnacles. (Includes thesis work of Joanna Gyory and Jane Weinstock, the latter in collaboration with Nathalie Reyns)<\/li>\n<li>Geographical variability in life-history traits of <em>Semibalanus <\/em>populations (<a href=\"http:\/\/science.whoi.edu\/labs\/pinedalab\/Subpages\/Regional.html\">link to project page<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Population limitation of barnacles, oysters and other epibionts living on mangrove roots.<\/li>\n<li>Self recruitment in a small, isolated barnacle population.
