This research falls directly in line with the\u00a0NOAA Climate Data Records\u00a0focus on the Earth&#8217;s energy and water cycles. The goals for this project are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The production of a long-term set of surface and near-surface parameters leading to fluxes with consistent, homogeneous errors that have been subjected to a rigorous error analysis<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate documentation for the dataset<\/li>\n<li>Codes\u00a0for the\u00a0dataset<\/li>\n<li>A procedure for quality control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cclayson.whoi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/77\/2015\/03\/CDR_CAC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/cclayson.whoi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/77\/2015\/03\/CDR_CAC-300x233.jpg\" alt=\"CDR_CAC\" width=\"363\" height=\"282\" \/><\/a>The dataset will be a follow-on to the CDR SeaFlux Version 1 dataset. \u00a0This dataset covers the time period of 1988 through near-real-time, with a 3-hourly, 0.25\u00ba resolution over the global oceans.
