Research Interests<\/h3>\n

I study the aquatic light environment, spanning the open ocean to the coastal zone and inland waters. My methods include remote (airborne or satellite), in situ<\/em>, and laboratory sensing.<\/p>\n

Current projects include developing a global historical kelp forest dataset: kelpwatch.org<\/a><\/p>\n
