evaluating future climate change impacts on leatherback turtle habitat within the US Northeast shelf using high-resolution global climate model projections and empirical data on leatherback turtle movements and habitat characteristics<\/p>\n\t<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/kdodge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/05\/G0016728-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"526\" height=\"351\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/kdodge\/projects\/sia\/\">Foraging ecology of ocean sunfish and leatherback sea turtles <\/a><\/h3>\n<p>We are conducting a comparative analysis of foraging ecology of ocean sunfish, <em>Mola mola<\/em>, and leatherback turtles, <em>Dermochelys coriacea<\/em>, from a common feeding area in the western North Atlantic using stable isotope analysis<\/p>\n\t<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/kdodge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/05\/TurtleCamFigure.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"546\" height=\"304\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/kdodge\/projects\/auv\/\">Habitat sampling and subsurface observations of leatherback turtles with an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) &#8216;TurtleCam&#8217;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/kdodge\/projects\/project-2\/\"><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>We are studying leatherback turtles off Massachusetts with a REMUS-100 AUV equipped with a custom navigation system, cameras, and environmental sensors to understand turtle behavior and habitat near fixed fishing gear<\/p>\n\t<p><img loading=\"lazy\" href=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/kdodge\/projects\/jellysia\/\">Effect of preparation and preservation methods on gelatinous zooplankton stable isotope values<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>We are conducting a methods comparison to investigate the effects of different preservation and drying methods on the stable isotope values of gelatinous zooplankton collected in the western North Atlantic<\/p>\n\t<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/kdodge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/05\/CM-8-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"503\" height=\"297\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/kdodge\/projects\/cheloniid\/\">Ecology of juvenile Kemp&#8217;s ridley and green sea turtles in New England<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>We are using satellite telemetry and remotely-sensed environmental data to determine post-release behavior, migratory movements and habitat selection of rehabilitated juvenile Kemp&#8217;s ridley and green sea turtles found in New England<\/p>\n\t<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/kdodge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/05\/All_Turtles-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"472\" height=\"475\"
