Research Interests

I am currently a biologist in Dr. Don Anderson's lab at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution studying harmful algal blooms (HABs) population dynamics and impacts on fisheries, aquaculture and subsistence communities.

I specifically work on projects focused on Alexandrium dynamics in the Arctic, Gambierdiscus community composition in the Florida Key's and St. Thomas as well as Karenia brevis mitigation in Florida.  For this work, I perform many roles from data collection and analysis to dissemination of results in the form of paper writing as well as outreach and education development.
