{"id":19,"date":"2017-04-05T12:17:26","date_gmt":"2017-04-05T16:17:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/template-blue-prepop\/?page_id=19"},"modified":"2025-08-15T16:05:01","modified_gmt":"2025-08-15T20:05:01","slug":"ocean-informatics","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www2.whoi.edu\/staff\/sbeaulieu\/projects\/ocean-informatics\/","title":{"rendered":"Ocean Informatics"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n<h1>Ocean informatics<\/h1>\n<p>I coordinate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whoi.edu\/ocean-informatics\">WHOI&#8217;s Ocean Informatics Working Group<\/a> and serve as WHOI&#8217;s representative to the Earth Science Information Partners (<a href=\"http:\/\/esipfed.org\/\">ESIP).<\/a> I host <a href=\"https:\/\/carpentries.org\/index.html\">Carpentries<\/a> workshops at WHOI. My technical expertise can be characterized as implementing FAIR data &#8211; Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable &#8211; for the ocean sciences.
