He was previously a visiting Professor at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaust.edu.sa\/\">King Abdullah University of Science and Technology<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/rsrc.kaust.edu.sa\/Pages\/Home.aspx\">Red Sea Research Center<\/a>, and an Affiliate Scientist at the <a href=\"http:\/\/ncar.ucar.edu\/\">National Center for Atmospheric Research<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www2.cgd.ucar.edu\/\">Climate and Global Dynamics Division.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Steven is the author or co-author of 79 refereed publications and 15 other publications.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior Scientist W.
