The Woods Hole Center for Oceans and Human Health will host the Gulf of Maine HAB Science Symposium at the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Pease Field Office in March 2020. Information on the symposium, including accommodations and travel information, is provided below.
Symposium Information
The GOM HAB Science Symposium will take place at the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Pease Field Office in Portsmouth, NH. Dates/Times: Tuesday, March 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
Note that a separate meeting of MERHAB PIs will be held at the same venue the day after the Symposium (March 11, time TBD)

Traveling to Portsmouth, NH
The meeting venue is only a few miles away from the Portsmouth International Airport. Alternatively, it may be more practical to fly into Boston or Manchester, NH. Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is about an hour and 20 minutes driving distance from NHDES, and the Manchester-Boston regional airport is about an hour away.
Accommodations
A room block has been reserved at the Residence Inn Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront for $120 USD per night. Government employees should use this block rate as well, as this does not exceed the government rate. The rate will be available for booking until February 17. The hotel is approximately 10 minutes driving distance from the meeting venue in NHDES, and offers Valet Parking for $30 per car, per night. Alternatively, the Foundry Place Garage available for self-parking. It is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and costs $.75 an hour.
