First ARION cruise underway this fall
The first ARION cruise will take place this fall (Sept-Oct 2021). Team members Lauren Kipp and Adele Anderson will board the Akademik Tryoshnikov, a Russian icebreaker, for 40 days to collect surface water samples in the eastern Arctic Ocean and deploy the MoRIS samplers for the first time.
