Agenda

This will be a hybrid meeting with both in person and remote attendance possible. The specific objectives of the workshop include:

  • Share recent ideas, approaches, and results related to mesoscale turbulence and energetics;
  • Discuss current knowledge gaps and solutions related to observing, modeling, and parameterizing mesoscale turbulence;
  • Continue scientific community building and the exchange of perspectives, to improve ocean parameterizations of mesoscale eddies in climate models.
