Lab Writing Retreat 2024
Seven members of the NIRVANA Labs ventured to South Dennis for our annual Lab Writing Retreat. We were once again joined by special guest Laura Motta, the newest hire in the Department of Marine Chemistry & Geochemistry. This year’s venue was the historic Obed Baxter House, White Pillars, built in 1849.
Lots of exciting manuscripts are in the works—from sea ice provenance in the Arctic (Georgi), to mesopelagic metal cycling in the Equatorial Pacific (Ichiko, Jordyn), to isotopic surveys of the Southern Ocean (Margot)—all coming to a journal near you in 2025 (hopefully!). Those are just a few highlights—more exciting work on the way!
