- Art-science collaboration and exhibition of artistic prints by University of Iowa Assistant Professor Terry Conrad. Effort included a Peanut Butter Club talk by Bernhard and Conrad to Woods Hole residents.
Teaching
Getting a Feel for Ocean Science
Foraminiferal diversity and adaptations teaching module developed for and presented to visually impaired students (Perkins School for the Blind), using 3-D printed models of microCT scanned foraminifera. Models are presented at in situ temperature, along with audio appropriate to their habitat or sampling requirements. Models also used during lectures to local high school students.
