Welcome !

I am a Research Specialist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). I consider myself a biologist at heart, and my training and background prior to arriving at WHOI all centered in biology. Now I drift more towards chemistry and my research interests combine biology with chemistry. I wear multiple hats at WHOI. On any given day I am developing new projects and ideas, analyzing data, conducting research at sea or in the field, writing papers, or dealing with logistics for a number of projects. These web pages describe some of the ideas I find interesting.
