Maddie was recently interviewed for the U.S. Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) series, in association with her ongoing collaboration with Dr. Steve Ackley through the 2017 Polynyas, Ice Production, and seasonal Evolution in the Ross Sea (PIPERS) expedition. This week, Maddie and UW graduate student Jake Davis completed deployments of 9 microSWIFT wave buoys over sea ice and ocean near Olikok Point, Alaska.
