Various Lithium-Ion battery systems have been developed for the REMUS series of autonomous underwater vehicles. Ranging is size from 1 to 16 kWh, these systems are built from arrays of smaller batteries. Each component battery provides 250 to 750 Wh, and is equipped with extensive protection, charge, and data functions.
