The coastal processes we observe today offer immense insight into how our world has been shaped over time, and how it will continue to evolve. Through the exploration of these processes the Coastal Systems Group, a collaborative body within the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s Geology and Geophysics Department, endeavors to understand the relationship between climate variability, landform dynamics, and humanity, in the past and into the future.
