SAMTEX/PRIDE

The SAMTEX and PRIDE experiments featured the collection of MT data in southern Africa.

The experiments aimed to measure the structure of the continental lithosphere in areas of old cratons, primarily the Kaapvaal in South Africa, the surrounding Proterozoic mobile belts, and the incipient rift around the Okavango delta and into Zambia.
