Research Interests

I'm interested in fluid mechanics and transport processes in estuaries and the coastal ocean, including exchange and residence time, sediment transport, bathymetric effects, frontal processes, and physical-biological interactions. My approach typically mixes field observations and numerical modeling, taking advantage of the benefits and recognizing the limitations of each.
