Organic matter in aquatic environments

I have examined the composition of organic matter in multiple aquatic environments, ranging from the deep ocean to groundwater. This work began when I was a postdoc in Liz Kujawinski's laboratory and most recently involved examining dissolved organic carbon in the northwestern Sargasso Sea.
