Field Work

Field work is a key part of my research and includes field experiments to validate methods, demonstrating new technologies, using robotics to obtain earth science measurements, and participating in large, multi-disciplinary expeditions. The locations can vary from single day tests near Woods Hole to multi-week ocean expeditions. Regardless of their location and duration, my field work shares the overreaching goal of expanding how we use robotic systems to observe and better understand the ocean.
