The Mooring Lab will work with investigators to provide a quote for mooring services work. To request a quote, please send an email to Chris Ross (cross@whoi.edu) with the following information:

Name of Principal Investigator(s) and affiliation
Proposed funding source
Proposal periods
Proposal title
Proposed deployment - turnaround - recovery schedule
Mooring description
- Surface or subsurface
- Number of moorings
- Water depths
- Instrumentation types and desired measurement depths
- Anticipated current profile
Date budget is required
Submission deadline

Complete fabrication with an emphasis on quality and accuracy will follow, accessing an extensive inventory of wire, synthetics, hardware and buoyancy.
