Facility Updates 2019

In early 2019, the NENIMF saw some equipment upgrades. These upgrades (below) will provide improved instrument control, enhanced remote operation capability, and improved network stability.

Installation of a new Eaton 20kV Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system for continuous, filtered power to both the IMS3f and IMS1280.
New computer, network, and software upgrade on IMS1280.
- Dell Desktop running Windows 10
- Isolated network
- Latest Cameca Instrument software version 2.5 and processing version 2.3
