New project Harmful Algal Bloom Community Technology Accelerator
I am co-PI on a new research project funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to improve our nation’s response to harmful algal blooms (HABs). I’ll be working with Heidi Sosik @ WHOI and collaborating with the Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System (SCCOOS), Central and Northern California Ocean Observing System (CeNCOOS), University of California Santa Cruz, and Axiom Data Science to develop a Harmful Algal Bloom Community Technology Accelerator. Our focus is on providing standardized data products for a network of Imaging FlowCytobots (IFCBs).
