Biodiversity for a healthy ocean
The theme “Biodiversity for a healthy ocean” captures the spirit of my work. I am a biological oceanographer who studies the distribution and abundance of life in the ocean and on the seafloor. My technical expertise can be characterized as implementing FAIR data – Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable - for the ocean sciences. Browse the Projects tab for my research in the deep ocean, coastal ocean, and ocean informatics. Browse the Education & Outreach tab for my teaching, mentoring, and public outreach.
