Biodiversity for a healthy ocean

The theme “Biodiversity for a healthy ocean” captures the spirit of my work. I am a biological oceanographer who studies the biodiversity, distribution, and abundance of life in the ocean and on the seafloor. I also have technical expertise in data management and informatics—transforming data into information and knowledge. Browse the Projects tab for my research in the deep ocean, coastal ocean, and ocean informatics. Browse the Education & Outreach tab for my teaching, mentoring, and public outreach.
