BC Biogeochemical Researchers

IRMINGER: A team from Boston College was aboard the R/V Neil Armstrong on Thursday May 30 to get a first-hand look at where they will be spending the next month at sea. Meg Yoder (far left) will serve as advisor to student participants Ayden Schirmacher (in blue) and Emma Brown (in yellow).  They will be conducting biogeochemical sampling in the Irminger Sea in support of ongoing research work of Hilary Palevsky, a professor at Boston College.  Palevsky (in orange), a recipient of an National Science Foundation CAREER Award, will not be onboard but joined the group to ensure all was in order before departure.
