The Fall 2025 Coastal Endurance Array Recovery Cruise (SR2520) focused on PacWave operations today, completing recoveries of the PacWave North and PacWave Southwest anchors with their chains and conducting a multibeam survey to identify the location of the PacWave West anchor for upcoming work.
Highlights
- Recovered PacWave North anchor, 110 m of chain, and 20 m of synthetic line.
- Recovered PacWave Southwest anchor, 120 m of chain, and synthetic line after two ROV-assisted attempts.

Wednesday (Oregon Inshore): North winds 11–16 kt increasing to 17–22 kt in the afternoon, gusts up to 28 kt, patchy morning fog, mixed swell NW 7 ft at 10 seconds and WSW 1 ft at 15 seconds, wind waves 3–4 ft.
With the PacWave North and Southwest anchors successfully recovered and a promising target identified at the West site, SR2520 is set to continue PacWave operations tomorrow.
