Pioneer and Endurance Expeditions Happening Simultaneously

First Deployment of Pioneer Array in Mid-Atlantic Bight and 20th Recovery and Deployment of Endurance Array

OOI teams will be working simultaneously, but in different oceans this April. The first deployment of the Coastal Pioneer Array in its new location in the Atlantic off the coast of Cape Hatteras, NC, will begin on April 1 aboard the R/V Neil Armstrong. The 20th expedition to recover and deploy the Coastal Endurance Array in the Pacific, off the coasts of Washington and Oregon, will begin March 28 aboard the R/V Atlantis. You can follow along on each journey on this page. Keep checking back. There will be lots of action to report!
