Turnaround in Newport
The R/V Sally Ride made a brief but efficient stop in Newport, Oregon, as the Coastal Endurance Array Spring 2025 Turn Cruise (SR2511) transitioned from Leg 1 to Leg 2.
During the stop, the team offloaded recovered equipment from the first leg of the cruise and loaded gear needed for upcoming deployments. With a quick turnaround complete, the ship departed Newport and is now back at sea to continue operations along the Endurance Array.
Stay tuned for updates from Leg 2!
