Twelfth Expedition to Refresh Regional Cabled Array

OOI's Regional Cabled Array team from the University of Washington's School of Oceanography and the Applied Physics Laboratory will once again have an exciting summer in the NE Pacific maintaining the National Science Foundations’ Regional Cabled Array (RCA) underwater observatory.

Location

The Regional Cabled Array is the first US ocean observatory to span a tectonic plate. It is located in the northeast Pacific.

Ship

R/V Roger Revelle is a Global Class research vessel operated by Scripps Institution of Oceanography as part of the U.S. Academic Research Fleet and available to scientists through UNOLS.
