The Fall 2025 Coastal Endurance Array Recovery Cruise (SR2520) entered its second leg today with the addition of a new science party member, loading of recovery support gear, and specialized ROV operations in support of PacWave anchor recovery. One anchor and associated chain were successfully recovered before the team began transit to the Oregon Offshore site.

- Loaded PacWave recovery support gear, including pallet, chainbox, and marker floats.
- Completed pre-recovery CTD cast for Oregon Inshore Mooring CE01ISSM-00022.
- Conducted extensive ROV operations at PacWave sites, locating and recovering one anchor plus chain.
- Began transit to Oregon Offshore to continue mooring recovery operations.
Conditions
- Saturday (Newport): Light variable winds (≤ 5 kt), mostly cloudy, WNW swell 5 ft at 12 seconds, wind waves around 1 ft.
- Sunday (Oregon Offshore, off Waldport): Southwest winds 6–10 kt, shifting north in the afternoon.
With PacWave recovery operations complete, the science team is now preparing for Oregon Offshore mooring recovery as SR2520 continues.
