2017 Expedition

The 2017 BGOS & JOIS cruise on the CCGS Louis St. Laurent was conducted in September with Bill Williams back as Chief Scientist. The 3 BG moorings were again recovered, refurbished and redeployed (in open water conditions), and 3 ITPs and 2 seasonal IMBs were deployed. IOS and collaborators again obtained hydrographic and geochemical stations throughout the region. Click here to read dispatches from the cruise.  Click here to read the cruise report.
