ITP 71 Deployment operations

The first Ice-Based Observatory (IBO) deployed during JOIS 2013, included ITP 71 with a MAVs prototype current probe. In addition, a M-Y Uptempo Buoy was deployed on the 2.5 m floe. Due to weather, helicopter maintenance, and the total number of systems, the operations took nearly 12 hours to complete.

More information and photos on the deployment operations are also available at: https://archives.whoi.edu/beaufortgyre/www.whoi.edu/page.do@pid=124956.html
