ITP 97 Deployment

ITP 97 was the last of 3 ITPs installed during JOIS 2016, and due to the poor ice conditions and cruise track had to be deployed over the side of the ship in open water.  Using the bow A-frame and ITP winch secured to the hydro winch, the system was efficiently deployed in only 1 hour.

More information and photos on the deployment operations are also available at: https://archives.whoi.edu/beaufortgyre/www.whoi.edu/page.do@pid=155216.html.
